Country Animal Hospital COVID-19 Protocol Update June 2021
We at Country Animal Hospital want to thank everyone for their patience, and support as all of us have weathered the stress and anxiety associated with Covid-19.
We are addressing allowing owners into the building on a case-by-case basis as we transition to opening up to the public per CDC and KY Board of Veterinary Medicine requirements.
We request that you call from your car when you arrive, ( 502-267-7444 ), so we can provide direction. We are not able to have clients wait in the lobby before, or after, an appointment. Checking out will occur in the exam room, or curbside, after an appointment.
If you are needing a refill prescription, we request that you call ahead a few days so we can have it prepared for your arrival. Please pull up parallel to Country Animal Hospital, call from your car, and one of us will bring your meds/medicated food to your car, and proceed with payment options.
We respectfully request that no more than 2 adults be present for their pet’s examination, and no children inside the building at this time until further notice. We are happy to continue “curbside” care for anyone that would like to continue with this format.
The positive aspect of performing curbside care is you still get to have one-on-one time with your veterinarian, Dr Reinhart. We have been able to keep up with the demand for veterinary services by performing curbside visits, to protect our clients and employees during Covid-19, while still providing high quality medical care for your pets.
Those of us employed at Country Animal Hospital will continue to wear our masks when interfacing with clients. We would appreciate if you come inside the building, that you would wear a mask to protect those individuals that might be immunocompromised.
Thank you again for your understanding, and support. We wish all of our friends and family safety, and peace of mind during these turbulent times.
In our ongoing effort to make your pet's health care as convenient and easy as possible, you can now request a refill for your pet's prescription by submitting the following form. Please be sure to fill in all the requested information. The prescription refill must be approved by a doctor. Please allow 72 hours for refill request, all compound refills must be requested one week in advance. No refills will be accepted on weekends.
We will notify you via email or phone when your pet's prescription is approved and ready to be picked up. We will also inform you of the total cost of the prescription, and will request a credit card number by phone at that time. If you would prefer to have the prescription mailed to you, please mention this information in the additional information area.
